Jonathan planned the sweetest proposal for Kelly during their trip visiting Lisbon. He got down on one knee in front of some beautiful, colorful Portuguese tile.

He even had her sister fly in as an additional surprise.
Following the proposal, we walked around the Principe Real neighborhood and took some couples portraits.

Here they are in front of one of my favorite doors in Lisbon. Look at that beautifully carved wood detail.
They even enjoyed some pasteis de nata during their photoshoot! One of my favorite pastel de nata spots is Manteigaria and it’s located nearby (don’t miss it!).
We ended their photoshoot at the Miradouro de São Pedro de Alcântara as the sun was setting.
Jonathan had a custom ring box made for the engagement ring with a picture of him and Kelly printed on it. A really nice personal touch.
