100% would recommend! We really wanted to capture photos of our family while the kids are still babies but hate having our photos taken. We couldn’t have enjoyed our experience with Jess more! “I used Jess to help plan a surprise proposal for my now fiancée during our trip in Lisbon. Having never been to Portugal before, I was pretty lost when it came to nailing down a location. Jess was super helpful in finding the perfect spot to ask the question, and had graciously allowed me to call her and figure out our plan. We ended up being over 45 minutes late to the shoot… Jess stayed the entire time and patiently waited for us to arrive to capture the moment. Despite being late and having a dinner reservation coming up she was able to make our photoshoot work and had even offered to stay past our agreed upon time to make sure we got the photos we wanted. I am so thankful I chose Jess for this special moment as her flexibility and professionalism made this a success. Could not recommend her enough!”

She is relaxed, fun, and inspired. She knows her shit, like lines and lighting and color. But she will also work with you to make tiny adjustments to your stance or your movement or your position that make THE WORLD OF DIFFERENCE in your end-result photo. She is professional, both literally and representationally. She will pull you, the real you, out with a lens and lay you on film so that you think she probably cut out a piece of your soul like those 1800's people used to think. But it doesn't hurt. Not at all. In fact, she can keep it, because it's right there whenever you want to look at it, beaming out at everyone you've ever known and making them feel happy. Dang it, it makes YOU feel happy. It can be hard being in front of a camera, but from the first moment of our engagement shoot (included in her packages), she did an awesome job of keeping us relaxed and enjoying the experience. She is so joyful and she has so many great ideas for shots to keep things fun and creative while still making sure you get those money shots that the family will be looking for!
Her turnaround time is unreal (like.... we're talking days) and the photographs themselves are absolutely stunning. The colors, the framing... so, so good. I can't recommend her enough!

Jess is such a joy to be around. She did our engagement photos and our wedding photos. Her infectious laugh puts you immediately at ease, especially if you're uncomfortable in front of the camera. She is so much fun! She comes from SCAD, so she obviously knows what she's doing - she is also an innate talent. You're getting high-quality photos with her, but she is very reasonably priced for the work she turns out, and she's flexible with schedules (unless she's booked solid, which I think she often is, so book her EARLY). She loves traveling, too - she did our engagement photos in Seattle, and our wedding in Savannah, GA. WE LOVE JESS KEENER!"
