The Best Miradouros in Lisbon for Photos
Lisbon has many incredible viewpoints with sweeping views of the city. Each one has a variety of things that make it special.
If you want to photograph at any of them, I highly recommend doing a super early morning photoshoot to avoid tons of other tourists in the background of your photos. Aim to start your session at sunrise.
My top 3 Miradouros are:
Miradouro de São Pedro de Alcântara, located in Principe Real. What’s nice about this viewpoint is it has two stories. The top level features a beautiful fountain as well as the gorgeous view looking out toward Chiado, Alfama, and Graça.
The lower level has some historic statues as well as a beautiful shell mosaic fountain and more of the view.
2. Miradouro da Graça, located in, you guessed it, Graça. Many people gather at the cafe in this square to have a drink and watch the sunset.
3. Miradouro de Santa Luzia, located in Alfama. Probably the most famous viewpoint in Lisbon. It features historic blue and white tile, red doors and views all the way to the ocean.
Which Miradouro is your favorite? Would you do a photoshoot at sunrise in one of these special locations?
