Let's Go on an Adventure • Isla Mujeres, Mexico

Recently I got to take a trip to Isla Mujeres to photograph a few luxury real estate rentals. While I was on the island I got a great taste of Mexican culture and am now in love with the beautiful water and relaxed vibe. Just being there makes you feel completely rejuvenated. A few favorite restaurants:

Lola Valentina- A very solid cuisine across the board. Great for dinner and wish I had gone for brunch because the menu sounded amazing.

GreenVerde- try the fish tacos and fresh cucumber "lemonade" (made out of limes).

Elements of the Island- Delicious and very reasonably priced breakfast. Best fruit I had on the island and the people who work there are incredibly nice and accommodating as well.

Let's Go on an Adventure • Curacao

Recently I got to photograph my first international wedding as Jessica Keener Photography! In addition to that amazing experience, I got to explore the island of Curacao as a tourist during the whole week surrounding the wedding. Check out some of the iPhone photos I took on my adventures around the island!

Let's Go on an Adventure • Orcas Island, WA

Last week I went on a little last minute adventure to Orcas Island in the San Juan Islands. One of my favorite things to do in the PNW is take the ferry. It's a beautiful ride on the water from Anacortes to Orcas Island. Some highlights of my trip included sailing, kayaking, paddle boarding for the first time, spotting over 14 deer, and hiking in Moran State Park. You can take whale watching boat tours up in the northern part of the island as well, and I hope to do that next time I visit. Enjoy some of the highlights of my trip below that I captured with my iPhone.

Let's Go on An Adventure • Downtown Seattle, WA

I got to be a tourist in my city this week! A client wanted a photo that said "Seattle" for the guest signing piece at her wedding. To get a view of the city from the water I took the water taxi over to West Seattle. Such a fun little trip. They even accept the Orca card for payment. Then I walked around Alki Beach. Who doesn't want to stick their toes in the sand? After that I headed back to downtown and explored Pike Place Market. To get an excellent view of both the market and the Puget Sound, you can head up to the beautiful rooftop deck at The Inn at the Market.

Let's Go on an Adventure • Olympic National Park

Since I moved to Seattle 4 years ago, I've been really into exploring the PNW. I'm going to start sharing some of my favorite places on my blog, so stay tuned for more. First up is the Olympic National Park, which I've now visited twice and would still love to go back. It's full of so many beautiful forests, lakes, waterfalls, beaches, hikes, views, hot springs and more. It's a really good area to visit for a sampling of the gorgeous landscape the PNW has to offer.
